Perfect Winter Wedding with

We got married at Crug Glas on the 2nd of December after booking in April 2021, and we cannot recommend it enough.
Throughout the two years the wedding was booked for, the team at Crug Glas were always super quick to respond to any queries we had and happy to answer the phone to answer questions, even if they were silly ones, they never made us feel silly for calling!
Sandra was absolutely amazing at remembering every detail about our big day in the lead up. Sometimes it felt as though we were the only couple to ever get married there, as she was so good at remembering all the small details about our day. Even if I’d phoned her out of the blue and caught her off guard regarding the smallest of things – she would always know what I was referring to, even though she must have been so busy.
Both Sandra and Bethan felt as though they were part of the day themselves as they shared so much excitement with us in the lead up.
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a blank canvas, and we loved that we were able to personalise The Cow Shed to make our day unique. Looking through photos of other weddings that have been hosted here, they all have their individual twist on them with different themes and colour schemes and it felt personal to us.
Every request we had to personalise The Cow Shed was met with enthusiasm – we had vases with candles in down the aisles and for the table centrepieces which other venues had said we wouldn’t be allowed when we were venue hunting initially, but Crug Glas were so accommodating and we were able to include things like for the wedding we’ve always envisioned. We also designed a custom cocktail and shot which the bar staff served on the night, which was such a nice touch. Nothing was too much and the set-up was beautiful.
We also loved how exclusive the venue is. We (and some of the suppliers) arrived on the Thursday before the wedding and it was all ours to start setting up for ahead of Saturday.
It was so nice to feel as though we weren’t on a conveyer belt of weddings, it was so relaxed having all this time to set up for the big day. The food was absolutely delicious, although we knew this having sampled so much of it in the lead up!
The rooms are also absolutely stunning with beautiful views, and we look forward to returning to celebrate anniversaries in coming years.
Thank you all so much again, it all ran so smoothly but that wouldn’t have been possible without your help – I know that our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was at another venue!

We had our wedding at Crug Glas and could not have asked for more. Everyone who worked at Crug Glas went above and beyond to ensure our day was everything we wanted. The day itself went so well and Crug Glas managed everything, allowing us and our guests to just enjoy the day. Our guests even commented on how great the venue was, how helpful everyone who worked there were and how great the food was!
The whole setting is amazing and every detail is thought of. We had the most incredible day and would recommend anyone to have their wedding at Crug Glas.

From the moment we stepped foot into Crug Glas we knew this was to be our venue for the most important and exciting day of our lives! The blank canvas of the cow shed allows you to magically transform your day into anything that you want it to be! You can let your imagination run wild as you have ample space to create and enjoy.
We had such fun making our dreams come to life! Although it is a former cow shed different areas have been made to create intimacy. The cosy sofa area and the bar area are ideal for family who wish to step back from the evening entertainment. The walled garden area is perfect for your champagne and canapés. We had a singer outside to greet our guests as they arrived, then by night the fire pit was lit and the candles and lights switched on to create a magical atmosphere.
If you’re looking to impress your overnight guests the rooms at Crug Glas are pure luxury. You need to see these with your own eyes to appreciate the quality and thoughtfulness that has gone into creating each of these wonderful rooms. I believe Janet herself created these! If you’re not sure who will do your hair and makeup for your big day then, if required, they have this covered too as Nigel Barnes is located at Crug Glas. Nigel has travelled the world making people look pretty and has featured on the front cover of Vogue numerous times. He has an impressive portfolio and made us all feel a million dollars on my big day! The wedding coordinator, for me, is very important as they can either make or break your big day!
From the first day I met Sandra I had no doubt in my mind she would ensure our day went perfectly to plan and exactly how we wanted it, Which it did. It was perfect! Sandra goes above and beyond, always with a smile on her face and nothing is to much bother! She oversees everything on your big day and makes sure the bride and groom are well cared for. As soon as we got out of the carriage she was there waiting for us with glasses of Prosecco and canapés!
Making sure you are well fed and watered is one of her top priorities! They say one of the three top things guest’s remember about your wedding is the food. I can honestly say the food at Crug Glas is outstanding! We had so many wonderful comments from our guests regarding the food and how generous the portions are.
The table service was impressive to watch. The waiters and waitresses appeared and performed like a military operation. Also, at how many wedding venues do you get one of the owners serve you at top table? What a special touch! Perkin – thank you , you were wonderful throughout the whole two days and got the thatchers haze order spot on! 😆
Janet, although she keeps a low profile, we know was working hard behind the scenes, helping in the kitchen, creating fabulous deserts, and overseeing everything. She made us homemade lasagna for our Sunday after wedding celebrations and she creates wonderful homemade recipes. I could go on and on about how fantastic this venue, staff and owners are. We truly cannot thank them enough for everything that they did to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly and they honestly could not do enough for us!
They will try and cater to your every need and all those dreams you have, they will help you make a reality ! I only wish we could do it all again, I truly would not change a thing!

We can’t describe how wonderful our wedding day was at Crug Glas. All of the team at the venue were so friendly and helpful throughout the build up to the wedding. Their experience and organization ensured no detail was missed and they did everything possible to make sure we had the perfect day.
Not only is the venue and setting beautifully kept, but the food was fantastic – many of our guests commented on how much they had enjoyed the whole day. It was so nice that we were given a black canvas to style our wedding how we wanted it, but the team were always on hand to help us get things perfect. Nothing was ever any trouble for the team and their relaxed (but very efficient) way of working took a lot of stress out of the planning for us.
A massive thank you to everyone at Crug Glas! We will be making a regular trip for Sunday lunch!

Where do I start … Sandra was amazing throughout our wedding planning. So welcoming and anything we wanted wasn’t too much trouble – we had singing waiters and Sandra dealt with them so well.
The venue is simply stunning – the accommodation also is just beautiful. We highly recommend this venue, it’s so beautiful and can be decorated to how you want. We had an incredible day, and the food was just insane. We had so much to choose from, and nothing was a problem!
We wish we could live it all over again! Our wedding guests loved the day, and it’s just a stunning venue. We got engaged here, and married here’s so will always hold a special place in our hearts!
